AEW Crowns First-Ever British Women’s World Tag Team Champions at All In
The Brawling Birds became AEW’s first British Women’s World Tag Team Champions at All In: London.
The first official match of the AEW All In: London main card featured Megan Bayne and Lena Kross (Divine Dominion) defending the Women’s World Tag Team Championship against Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter. The match began with the stars shoving each other in the middle of the ring before Windsor got knocked to the outside.
The action spilled to the outside soon after. Jamie Hayter dove off the top turnbuckle onto the champions outside. However, the champions gained control soon as Megan Bayne took out Hayter with a spear in the ring. They then placed her on the top turnbuckle and posed, while Bayne had her foot on Hayter’s chin.
After enduring some punishment, Jamie Hayter managed to tag in Alex Windsor. After sending Megan Bayne, who tried to interfere, to the outside, Windsor knocked Lena Kross down for a nearfall. The challengers later double-teamed Bayne for a pinfall attempt, but Kross broke it up.
The Brawling Birds became the new AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions
The match then continued with some back-and-forth action. The final moments of the contest saw the champions trying to hit the Divine Intervention on Jamie Hayter. However, Hayter reversed it into a DDT on both of them. The Divine Dominion eventually hit the move successfully, but Windsor broke up the pin by pulling Lena Kross out of the ring.
The challengers then sent Megan Bayne out of the ring before dropping Lena Kross with the Two Birds One Stone to score the victory. With the win, The Brawling Birds became the first British Women’s World Tag Team Champions in AEW history.
