Bron Breakker Addresses His Lack Of Promo Time On WWE TV
Bron Breakker recently took to the mic against CM Punk in a promo battle of sorts. In a new interview, opened up about how little experience with it he’s had.
Speaking to Tyler Treese of ComingSoon.net, Breakker was asked about what it was like going toe-to-toe with Punk on the mic. Breakker more than held his own against the legend on the mic. He also said this is just the first chance he’s really gotten to explore that side of things.
“This is the first opportunity that I’ve had to really show that I can do that at a high level.” said Breakker. “Prior to this point, I don’t know that the situation has been you know, as me being able to be my authentic self out there and say things in the way that I would do them, and just get to be me, and that is what you’re seeing.
“Obviously, it’s a better product, it’s a better presentation, it’s all around just better because it’s me, and nobody knows how to be me more than me. So I’ve always been capable of doing that. I’ve always been capable of hanging in there and cutting promos at whatever level that we have. And obviously, Punk, in my opinion, is the greatest promo in the history of the game. I don’t think anyone’s better than him.”
Breakker believes more experience will only make him better
Breakker went on to say that having a lack of promo experience and still going out there is huge. He and the rest of The Vision performing at the level they’ve been performing is a big sign for why they’ve viewed so favorably by many.
“Me having the lack of promo experience and doing it at the level that I’ve been doing it the past month or so to count on maybe doing them in the arena in front of a live audience on the main roster, I can count on probably one hand.
“The fact that we — and I say we as The Vision — are able to go out and do it in the recent month, really at the level that we’ve been able to do. It shows that everyone wants to call us the future. It’s great to put on a poster or a tag or whatever you wanna call it. I think what we’ve been doing recently proves that there’s just nobody else that’s even close.”
