If some people in the company have their way, it sounds like today’s episode of WWE SmackDown will be very memorable.

Today’s episode of WWE SmackDown will air early for international viewers at 2 PM ET on Netflix as the event takes place at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany. And there’s an internal push for a big title change to take place on the show.

According to BodySlam+, there’s an internal push from multiple personnel within the company for Drew McIntyre to defeat Cody Rhodes today for the WWE Championship in their Three Stages of Hell match on SmackDown.

This isn’t the first time there’s been a push for McIntyre to beat Rhodes, as both men pushed for McIntyre to win the title at Wrestlepalooza back in September.

Whether it happens today or not is anybody’s guess, but we’ll find out soon enough.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
