Update On LA Knight’s WWE Status — Report
It’s been a few weeks without LA Knight on WWE programming. But what’s the status of the Mega Star heading into 2026?
On the December 8 episode of WWE RAW, LA Knight was utterly destroyed by The Vision. The closing moments of the show saw Bronson Reed hit LA Knight with a Tsunami on the roof of a car, effectively writing him off television for the time being.
The following week, it was announced on RAW that Knight had suffered a cracked sternum and that he was on the shelf indefinitely.
But fear not, LA Knight fans, because a new report suggests the Mega Star will be back sooner rather than later.
According to BodySlam+, LA Knight is expected back on WWE programming “very soon.” And could be back as soon as the January 5 episode of RAW.

The January 5 episode of WWE RAW is shaping up to be a huge show
RAW will come to us live next week at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It’s the first RAW of the year and essentially the one-year anniversary of the show on Netflix. The company is looking to take advantage of these things by putting together a stacked card.
Here are the matches currently announced for next week’s episode of RAW:
- World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Bron Breakker
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) (c) vs. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY
- WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Maxxine Dupri (c) vs. Becky Lynch
In addition to these matches, rumors persist that we could see the return of Chris Jericho to WWE this Monday night, following the expiration of his AEW contract later this evening.
