The Rock has named the best in-ring moment of his wrestling career.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, The Rock revealed that a match he competed in Hawaii was the wrestling moment of his career. He has an emotional reason behind choosing this, as when he was 14, The Rock and his family got evicted from their one-bedroom apartment in Hawaii after his parents struggled to pay the rent.

He stated that being able to go back to Hawaii and wrestle as The Rock was very special to him.

“I had a match in Hawaii. Hawaii always meant a struggle for us because we were evicted. So the idea that I was able to go back and wrestle as the Rock, that was really cool and very special to me.”

The match The Rock speaks about is the one against Chris Jericho he had at a WWE live event in Honolulu on June 15, 2002.

Speaking in the same interview, The Rock also opened up about why he was at peace with The Smashing Machine underperforming at the box office.

Cody Rhodes Says The Rock Has Only Scratched The Surface Of His Final Boss Character

Reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was recently a guest on the ALL THE SMOKE podcast. The American Nightmare addressed The Rock’s character evolution and said he believes The People’s Champion has only scratched the surface of the Final Boss gimmick.

“He came back to a very tumultuous WWE, a year or so ago, and decided, nope, I’m not gonna deal with that,” Cody Rhodes said. “I’m instead gonna create a new character even though I’m already one of the greatest characters ever, that being The Final Boss… We’ve just scratched the surface on The Final Boss. There’s something incredibly special there, so The Rock is on my Mount Rushmore.” [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]
