The World Heavyweight Championship has a new number-one contender on WWE RAW.

The main event of this week’s red brand featured a triple threat match between CM Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight to determine the next challenger for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship.

In the closing moments, Jey tossed Knight out of the ring, inadvertently allowing Punk to capitalize on the distraction with a GTS for the win. However, Punk’s celebration was short-lived as The Vision appeared and attacked the Straight Edge Superstar. Seth Rollins then made his way to the ring to witness The Bronsons dismantle Punk—only for the group to turn against The Visionary in a shocking betrayal.

It’s worth noting that Punk previously won the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Gunther at WWE SummerSlam 2025 but lost the title moments later when Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on his archrival.

WWE has yet to announce the date for the World Heavyweight Championship clash between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, though the match could take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November. Fans will have to wait and see when the long-awaited showdown between Punk and Rollins finally happens.
