Triple H Tells WWE Universe They Can’t Have Edge And They Respond In Hilarious Fashion

On this day, Triple H doesn’t see clearly in regards to what the Australian WWE Universe wants.
Earlier today on the WWE Crown Jewel Post Show, Chief Content Officer Triple H took center stage to talk about today’s premium live event, but it wasn’t without hilarious controversy.
Following AEW All Out last month, when Adam Copeland returned the favor to John Cena and paid tribute to him during his tag match with FTR, fans immediately began to hope for one final match between them. When Copeland announced he was taking some time off after All Out, speculation hit another level until it was shut down and confirmed that Copeland stepped away for some Hollywood commitments and wasn’t returning to WWE to face Cena.
While Triple H was discussing today’s show, Peter Rosenberg namedropped Edge, likely much to Hunter’s chagrin. This resulted in a “We want Edge” chant from the WWE Universe, which saw Triple H respond with, “You can’t have him.”
The WWE Universe responded in kind, singing Copeland’s theme music Metalingus by Alterbridge, at the top of their lungs as Hunter attempted to talk over them. You can check out this interaction in the embedded video below.
Edge wasn’t the only AEW star who got a chant today during Triple H’s appearance, as MJF also got a very vocal one while Hunter was trying to speak. This time, however, he ignored that chant completely.
