AEW Dynamite Viewership & Demo Revealed For 10/7 Episode
AEW Dynamite saw a decrease in viewership on October 7 when the show moved to Tuesday, head-to-head with WWE NXT Showdown.
According to Wrestlenomics, 321,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday night, and it drew a 0.07 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when 465,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.09 rating in the same demographic.
Viewership for Tuesday’s show on MAX is unknown at this time.
What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a face-to-face between Hangman Page and Samoa Joe to hype up their AEW World Championship match at WrestleDream.
Kyle Fletcher defeated Kyle O’Reilly to retain the AEW TNT Championship.
In women’s action, Mercedes Moné defeated Lacey Lane to retain the AEW TBS Championship.
In the main event of the evening, Orange Cassidy defeated PAC thanks to a clever assist from Darby Allin.

AEW Dynamite Review:
Tonight was a fun show. We got three big match announcements for WrestleDream next weekend, and we got some really fun matches. But I feel like when you’re going head-to-head with NXT and TNA, you could have pushed the envelope a bit harder tonight than they did.
Not following up on Andrade and Kenny Omega was a big mistake in my opinion. Is that match not happening at WrestleDream next weekend? If not, why? That doesn’t make any sense to me. I also felt like Mercedes’ mystery opponent tonight was a letdown. But it is what it is. I still enjoyed tonight’s show, but I feel they didn’t push hard enough to get an overall A grade this evening.
Grade: B+
