A new report sheds light on Roman Reigns’ imminent WWE return with a new moniker. He is expected to return at SummerSlam 2025.

At WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Paul Heyman betrayed Reigns and CM Punk to side with Seth Rollins. Additionally, on the RAW after WrestleMania, the duo of Rollins and Bron Breakker laid waste to the Bloodline member and put him on the shelf.

On Twitter, WrestleVotes reported that Roman Reigns’ return to WWE television is approaching, potentially featuring a new moniker. The leading idea for his presentation is said to be “OTC1” or “Tribal Chief One.” The report states,

“With his return drawing closer, we’re told the moniker ‘OTC1’ — or ‘Tribal Chief One’ — is the leading idea for how Roman Reigns will be presented upon his return to TV. Sources continue to indicate Reigns is slated for SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium.”

Eric Bischoff Claims Roman Reigns Could Leave WWE For Hollywood

During a recent episode of his “83 Weeks” podcast, Eric Bischoff claimed that it was only a matter of time before the Tribal Chief transitioned to Hollywood. However, the former RAW General Manager expressed uncertainty about Roman Reigns’ acting prowess, but believed that it would get better with experience. He said,

“It’s just a matter of time, you know. It was, I should say, just a matter of time. Roman — you know, I don’t know how good of an answer he is; we’re about to find out. Like any other goal or aspiration, he’ll get better as he goes. But the one thing we do know for sure is he’s got an amazing presence.”

Eric Bischoff also commented on Roman Reigns’ aura. He said,

“He’s one of those people that when he walks into the room, no matter how busy you are or what the conversation happened to be that you were engaged in, you kind of stop and look over and ask yourself if you don’t already know, ‘Who the hell is that guy?’ He’s got an amazing presence, and if he could pick up the acting along the way and get some great coaching, who knows man? Because he’s got an amazing look. He looks like a Hollywood movie star.”
