Nikki Bella Shares How Things Are With Ex-Fiance John Cena

Nikki Bella and John Cena got engaged at WWE WrestleMania 33, but the couple broke things off before they could officially tie the knot.

On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Nikki shared how things are with John today, given that both are appearing for WWE. She said,

“It’s been so great! As you know, it’s a family back there and every time you go back it’s the same. Even seeing people from the past, it’s been really, really nice. I know we’re talking about John — I have so much respect for him and his wife and their relationship, and she is super sweet and amazing and she’s at all the shows.

“It’s been honestly very comfortable, very nice, and that’s great. That’s what you want from it… you don’t want things to be awkward and weird, and it’s not, so that’s really nice.”

Cena and Nikki were together from 2012 to 2018 but the pair’s disagreement over the topic of having children would play a factor in their split.

Today, Cena is married to Shay Shariatzadeh, while Nikki would marry Artem Chigvintsev in 2022, though the pair divorced in 2024.
