Mercedes Moné Names Her Five Favorite Matches Of All Time
Mercedes Moné has had a ton of incredible matches in her career, but what are her top five of all time?
In the latest issue of the MonéMag, Mercedes Moné wrote what she considers her top matches of all time, which span across WWE and All Elite Wrestling. While she initially started out wanting to name five, she eventually settled on seven.
“People often ask me about my top five matches of all time, and honestly, it’s hard to narrow it down—because I’ve been blessed with so many incredible opponents in my career.
“But one match always comes to mind first: me vs. Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. That match was life-changing, not just for me but for women’s wrestling as a whole. It set a new standard, and I’m so proud of what we accomplished that night. Coming in at number two is me vs. Toni Storm. That match was pure magic, and I’ll share more about why it meant so much to me in a moment.
“After those two? It gets tough to rank. Me vs. Bayley at Hell in a Cell was iconic in its own way. Then there’s me vs. Kris Statlander, me vs. Athena, and me vs. Asuka. Every single one of those matches pushed me, inspired me, and left a mark on my heart. Of course, Bianca and I, too.”
