Gabriel Luna Wants To Be The CM Punk Of The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Gabriel Luna has big plans, and wants to be the CM Punk of the MCU.

Luna was interviewed by Brandon Davis during the premiere of the John Wick spinoff Ballerina. During the interview, Luna opened up about fans wanting him to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ghost Rider. Luna, who currently stars as Tommy Miller on The Last Of Us, previously appeared as the Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Luna shared that he sees a pattern in fans wanting more of stars who have been away from the franchise for a while. He then claimed that he is the CM Punk of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“You know, oddly enough… You know, right now, Tommy is kind of in the front of people’s minds. But oddly enough, it is the Ghost Rider. I mean, I just walked past throngs of people over there and there’s several calls of Robbie Reyes and Ghost Rider, this and that. I’m… It just makes me happy. I’m proud. Maybe there’s something to it about leaving there and having to remember it as fondly as we do. I will be the CM Punk of the MCU,” Gabriel Luna said. 

We’ll have to wait and see if Luna returns to the MCU, or if and when Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze or Robbie Reyes) shows up too.

It is known among wrestling fans that CM Punk had been away from professional wrestling for several years and fans had been wanting to see him back in WWE. In 2023, he returned at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event.
