Sol Ruca Retains WWE Speed Women’s Title In First Title Defense

WWE Speed Women’s Champion Sol Ruca has proven she has what it takes to defend the gold by emerging victorious in her first title defense.

During the latest episode of the Twitter-exclusive show, Ruca retained against Ivy Nile, who had won a tournament to earn a title opportunity.

Ruca is the second-ever WWE Speed Women’s Champion, winning the belt from inaugural champion Candice LeRae back in April 2025.

Ruca is also a double champion, as she is currently the NXT Women’s North American Champion and defended against Kelani Jordan at Battleground 2025.

The NXT Superstar is only the second-ever Superstar to hold a WWE and NXT Championship simultaneously, the first being Paige in 2014.
