The Latest On AEW Dynamite Viewership Figures On Max
AEW Dynamite began simulcasting on Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming platform, Max, earlier this year, but viewership numbers on Max have not been previously disclosed.
A new report by BJ Bethel with SEScoops indicates that AEW Dynamite averages around 500,000 viewers on Max, contributing to an overall viewership of approximately 1.1 to 1.2 million viewers weekly, including live audiences on TBS.
The show reportedly garners 60 million minutes watched per week, with live and same-day views factored in.
However, traditional Nielsen viewership numbers are not as crucial for streaming platforms. For AEW Dynamite, the average viewership is around 500,000 per episode, accounting for Live-Plus-1 (live viewing plus additional views within 24 hours). The report also mentions that significant week-to-week variations can impact total streaming minutes.
As reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW’s streaming numbers are “kept under lock and key” and “no one” in AEW knows the numbers. Since AEW is not fully aware of its streaming numbers, the figures quoted might be rough estimates of logins, not precise viewership.
Meltzer suggests that the actual viewership could be around 1.5 million on television and an additional 500,000 from streaming, totaling about 2 million viewers across both platforms.
AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery have yet to release official viewership figures for Dynamite on Max.
