Ric Flair Disagrees With WWE Referencing Charlotte’s Divorces
Ric Flair was no fan of Tiffany Stratton making reference to Charlotte Flair’s three divorces during a heated segment on WWE SmackDown.
Stratton claimed that Charlotte will leave WrestleMania 41 in defeat and alone before saying Flair is ‘0-3’ when it comes to marriages.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Ric Flair was asked about the segment that quickly went viral. He said,
“I have an opinion, but I don’t really want to voice it. I can say this, it’s very sensitive. I didn’t like it, but wrestling is wrestling.”
Ric also took issue with Stratton mentioning him by name in the segment, in which she claimed Charlotte will always be second behind him. He said,
“I hate when they use me, but Charlotte said it right—you think that’s the first time hearing my name? She is ten times the athlete that I am. So much better of a worker than I ever was. I can’t do half the things that she does.”
Flair and Stratton reportedly went off-script in their segment. The pair will face off for the Women’s Championship at WWE WrestleMania 41.
