Chihiro Hashimoto To Defend Sendai Girls World Title Against Maika
STARDOM and Sendai Girls’ partnership continues to grow as Chihiro Hashimoto defends her Sendai Girls World Title against Maika.
At a recent press conference, STARDOM revealed that Chihiro Hashimoto would be returning to compete at the promotion to defend her Sendai Girls World Championship. They then announced the former World of Stardom Champion Maika as her challenger. The match will then take place at one of STARDOM’s biggest annual shows: All Star Grand Queendom 2025.
The last time the Sendai Girls World Championship was on the line in a STARDOM show was when Mika Iwata successfully defended the belt Saori Anou at STARDOM The Conversion. The Wonder of Stardom Title was also on the line, making Iwata a double champion.
Chihiro Hashimoto and Maika’s feud
This will be the third time Chihiro Hashimoto and Maika share a ring against each other. Their feud dates back to January this year when Maika and HANAKO defeated Chihiro and Yuu at STARDOM New Year Dream. Since their first encounter, Chihiro Hashimoto has been vocal about wanting to step in the ring with Maika again. Upon winning the Sendai Girls World Championship from Meiko Satomura, she immediately named Maika as her first challenger.
