Ernest ‘The Cat’ Miller Details Unlikely Journey Into Pro Wrestling
Ernest ‘The Cat’ Miller may never have made it in professional wrestling, had it not been for the son of WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff.
On a recent edition of the “UnSKripted” podcast, Miller discussed landing a role in WCW despite not being a previously established name in wrestling. He said,
“I came in to WCW because Eric Bischoff, who was then, I think he was a Vice-President or a President, saw me and saw something in me. I was teaching his son martial arts, and he kind of talked me out of martial arts for a little while, into the ring, the other ring. The wrestling ring.”
When asked on why he agreed to join WCW and the wrestling business, Miller had a simple reason, stating “The money! The money!”
Bischoff’s son Garrett took his martial arts skills to TNA Wrestling years later, where he was part of the Aces & Eights faction.
After WCW, Miller would be part of WWE and would make an appearance during the 2024 Royal Rumble match.
