Bobby Lashley Says He Was Offered A Fight With Mike Tyson Earlier This Year

Bobby Lashley was offered the chance to step into the ring with WWE Hall of Famer/Boxing icon Mike Tyson, the All Mighty claimed this week.

Lashley finished his time with WWE earlier this year and despite speculation of an AEW move, he has yet to debut on company programming.

During a recent virtual signing for K&S WrestleFest, Lashley shared that he was offered a chance to face Tyson a few months ago. He said,

“I was offered a Mike Tyson fight also. I was offered Mike Tyson several months back. I was like, ‘Hmm, that would be a good fight.’ People asked me the same question, ‘Can I beat Mike Tyson?’ I’m not going to say, ‘Oh yeah, I can beat Mike Tyson,’ but I would like to do the fight. That’s what it’s all about to me. As a competitor, as a fighter, I’m going to take a fight that comes my way. If it makes sense, I’ll do it.”

In August 2022, Lashley stated that he had been offered the chance to fight Tyson with the match planned for Madison Square Garden.

Tyson will fight Jake Paul on November 15, from AT&T Stadium in the Baddest Man on the Planet’s first fight in over two years.
