Report – Rhea Ripley Still Not Cleared For In-Ring Action

Former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley made her WWE return last week on RAW, chasing off Liv Morgan and confronting Dominik Mysterio to close out the show.

Pwinsider has provided an update on Ripley following last night’s episode of RAW.

Fans may have noticed that Ripley did not engage in any physical contact during the July 15th show.

According to the report, Ripley has not yet received full medical clearance for physical contact from WWE. However, she is expected to return to the ring in time for WWE SummerSlam 2024.

Multiple sources have revealed that Ripley is not expected to wrestle until the August 3rd pay-per-view event. Furthermore, she will not have any physical interactions on WWE programming until she is fully cleared.

There were initial talks about putting Ripley back in WWE storylines at SummerSlam 2024 or Monday Night RAW the following day. However, WWE ultimately decided to have her face Liv Morgan at SummerSlam 2024.

This decision was reportedly made because Ripley expressed confidence in her readiness for the event, which is one of WWE’s biggest pay-per-view events of the year.
