STARDOM Reportedly Interested In Two Huge AEW Stars For December Supershow
It’s been reported that STARDOM is interested in hosting a crossover event with AEW this December, similar to AEW’s upcoming event with NJPW ‘Forbidden Door.’
During his appearance on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast, Dave Meltzer was asked about the upcoming Forbidden Door show and a potential working relationship between AEW and Stardom:
“I know for a fact that Stardom is interested in working with AEW. Stardom’s got their own big shows when they run Sumo Hall. I know Stardom would love to have Britt Baker, Thunder Rosa, those people on there [at the] Sumo Hall show at the end of the year.”
NJPW does not have a women’s division, meaning women’s matches at Forbidden Door are unlikely to happen.
AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door will take place on June 26, in Chicago, Illinois.
