Will Ospreay Provides Health Update Following Neck Injury – “Things Ain’t Looking Good”

As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, New Japan Pro Wrestling Superstar Will Ospreay is dealing with a neck injury and had to vacate the IWGP World Heavyweight Title due to it. The injury occurred during his match with Shingo Takagi at the May 4th Wrestling Dontaku event in Fukuoka.

Ospreay took to Twitter today and provided a fairly grim update but says he’s still planning on returning by the end of this year. He said,

“Had my physio pop over the house today & after further digging I’m now being referred for another MRI on my lower back as well for fears I may have the same issue in my neck. Things ain’t looking good, but I’m determined to comeback this year. Thanks for all the support.”
