WWE Star Reveals Violent Past Relationship Led Her To Seek Therapy

WWE Superstar Michin recently opened up about seeking therapy following a violent relationship.
Appearing on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, the former Mia Yim explained that the experience had a profound impact on her life.
“What led me go into therapy was it was a violent relationship and it was hard because like, it’s to the point now it’s been long enough and I’ve been doing therapy long enough where like everything happens for a reason. I learned a lot from it and I forgive everybody,” Michin said.
Michin recalled frequently breaking down while confiding in coworkers and during her time at SHIMMER, noting that the pressure she faced at home became so intense that she often struggled to keep her emotions in check once she was away from that environment.
“When it was happening to me, what made me want to be vocal about it and tell my story was when I would go and open up to my fellow co-workers or anytime I have SHIMMER, like just kind of breakdown and like it was so much pressure at home that once I left, like I just couldn’t help but breakdown.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Michin shared a hilarious childhood story, revealing that she once sent a hate letter to Stephanie McMahon as a young WWE fan.
Michin currently competes on WWE SmackDown, where she has been working alongside Jade Cargill and B-Fab in an on-screen alliance.
