John Cena Confirms WWE WrestleMania 42 Role
John Cena is coming to WrestleMania 42, and he shared what his role will be.
Cena shared a video from the set of a new movie he is currently filming. During the video, Cena announced that he will be at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, and dropped a big teaser about what his role on the show will be.
“Ah, retired life in the sun. I’m kidding! Check out the backdrop. I’m shooting a movie for Netflix called One Attempt Remaining that you can see when it comes out,” Cena said. “I’m also on the road… which is ironic because there’s a road to WrestleMania going on, and Hollywood is really close to Vegas.”
John Cena then seemingly confirmed he will be the official host of WrestleMania 42, telling fans he will see them in Las Vegas.
“Rumor around this town is WrestleMania needs a host. Well, I’m already on that road,” Cena added, “so I will see you at WrestleMania.”
WWE WrestleMania 42 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19.

John Cena plans to be part of the WWE family even though his in-ring days are over
Cena said that he would remain part of the WWE family after his in-ring retirement. Before retiring, he confirmed he had signed a long-term deal with WWE as an ambassador.
During a recent appearance at MEGACon Orlando, Cena said he is trying to find the best way to stay involved with WWE.
He said, “I am working diligently to try to figure out my next path as a contributing, useful member of WWE I think I might crack the code, and I think we have something.” He also hinted that his role could become much bigger if everything works out. “if the stars align and everybody signs off, I will be a whole lot more integrated in the system, and I’m very excited about the road ahead, and I’ll just cross my fingers that it works.”
