Gladiators, ready!

Amazon revealed the premiere date and broadcast details for its American Gladiators revival on Prime Video. The series, hosted by WWE and Real World alum Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, will debut on Amazon Prime Video on April 17.

Season one of American Gladiators will consist of ten episodes. The show will premiere its first three episodes on April 17. Three more will follow on April 24, with the final four episodes airing on May 1.

Gladiators will feature classic events such as Joust, Powerball, Hang Tough, and The Wall. Two new events, The Ring and Collision, will also debut. Contestants will compete for a $100,000 prize and the title of American Gladiator Champion.

It was previously reported that the show will feature 16 new American Gladiators. This includes five notable names from the pro wrestling world. As seen on the poster, former TNA star and Big Brother alum Jessie “Mr. PEC-tacular” Godderz, AEW stars Kamille and Wardlow are three of the Gladiators on the show.

Eric Bugenhagen (aka former WWE Superstar Rick Boogs) and Jessica Roden (aka The Ultimate Athlete, J-Rod) are the two other pro wrestling Gladiators confirmed for season one.

American Gladiators originally aired from 1989 and 1996. The show was revived in 2008 with Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali as the hosts. The show also had a successful run in the UK as Gladiators, where SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and former WWE star Mason Ryan appeared as Gladiators.
