MJF: It’s Time For Wrestlers To Hit Fans Again
MJF shared a New Year’s resolution of sorts.
The AEW World Heavyweight Champion replied to a post by WWE Superfan “Brock Lesnar Guy,” who announced he would stop attending live wrestling events. Brock Lesnar Guy posted a video of himself “retiring” the t-shirt he wore to various WWE events. He explained that he was moving on to focus on other things in his life.
The post was met with a mixed reaction. Many people praised BLG for his dedication to WWE events. However, many others criticized him for making a big deal out of the announcement. Many people in the replies drew parallels between WWE’s rising ticket prices and BLG calling it quits, while others criticized him for thinking he’s a main character.
MJF saw the post and took a direct shot, saying it’s time for pro wrestlers to take matters into their own hands.
“Wrestlers, we need to start hitting fans again,” MJF wrote on Twitter/X.
Several pro wrestling personalities laughed at MJF’s response. Bully Ray had one of the best replies, writing the following:
“Again? I never stopped,” Bully replied to MJF.
MJF unveiled a new version of his “Triple B” World Championship on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. However, his New Year’s Eve celebration was cut short by a Kenny Omega promo. Omega implied he was coming for MJF and the title in the new year, and he’d get a title match any way he could. Catch up on everything that went down on AEW Dynamite here.
