Shotzi Isn’t Sure About A Potential WWE Return After Recent Release

Several Superstars have returned to WWE over the years after previously being released, but Shotzi Blackheart isn’t sure she’ll be one of them.

Blackheart was released from WWE earlier this year. She parted ways with the company as a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.

On a recent edition of the “Podcast Heat Wrestling” podcast, Shotzi shared why she’d be hesitant to return if given the opportunity. She said,

“If WWE were to hit me up, I’d be apprehensive going back. Just because I feel like I’d be stuck in the same spot I was just in — not being used. I would be on TV for 3 weeks, then off for 4 months, on for 2 weeks, off for 2 months. I don’t wanna live like that.”

Shotzi recently said that she would be open to competing full-time in AEW, citing the creative freedom afforded to talent as a major incentive.

Shotzi already has several dates lined up post-WWE, including being part of GCW’s upcoming tour of Japan.
