Charlotte Flair Recalls Taking WWE Icon As Show-And-Tell Surprise

Charlotte Flair was able to impress during show-and-tell sessions in her childhood thanks to her deep connections to the world of professional wrestling.

On a recent edition of the “Games with Names” podcast, Flair recalled injecting some ‘Macho Madness’ into her classroom. She said,

“I took Macho Man to ‘show and tell.’ So they were in town, brought him by [to] Providence Day, where I went to elementary school. He was just walking down in his Zubaz. My dad and him like … but I was so young. Like, I just remember glimpses. Like, the side he walked down in the cafeteria.”

Flair admitted that her peers, all six-year-olds at the time, may not have been aware of who Savage was at the time.

In a different show-and-tell, Flair brought the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, a title her father and Savage held multiple times.

Savage died in May 2011 of a heart attack while driving his car. He was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame four years later.
