Steve Austin Reveals What Went Wrong With ATV At WrestleMania 41
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s appearance at WrestleMania 41 didn’t go as planned as he would crash his ATV into the barricade around the ring.
On a recent edition of “The Ariel Helwani Show,” the WWE Hall of Famer explained how the spot he’s done countless times went wrong. He said,
“Different throttle set up than what I’m used to. Long story short, just a different throttle system. I’m pretty dang hady on a four-wheeler. I was embarrassed by it. I think everybody is okay. You go out there on the biggest night in wrestling and you end up like that, it’s not the greatest day at the office. You go out there and want to give people the best show that you can and when you fall short of that, it’s not great.”
Austin’s collision with the barricade resulted in one female fan falling, which led to Austin and WWE President Nick Khan quickly checking on her.
WWE is reportedly concerned that the fan could file a lawsuit due to the incident, though at this time, no suit has reached the public.
