Big E Hopes Recent WWE Match Leads To Bigger Opportunities For The Talent
Big E has high praise for a WWE match that took place earlier this month.
There have been multiple great matches that have taken place on WWE programming in recent weeks, but one match in particular stood out to the former member of The New Day.
Big E took to social media this weekend to praise the TLC match on SmackDown between Motor City Machine Guns, DIY, and the Street Profits, hoping this match will lead to bigger opportunities for all three teams, tweeting out:
“Had to rewatch the TLC Tag Match from #SmackDown this morning. Take a bow, gentlemen. We got a top tier, Mania caliber match. All 6 men should be immensely proud of their work. Hope this catapults them all to bigger opportunities,” Big E said in a post.
Surprisingly enough, The New Day have never competed in a TLC match. The closest the team came was at TLC 2015 when Big E and Kofi Kingston retained the WWE Tag Team Titles in a ladder match against The Usos and Lucha Dragons.
