On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Davis’ injury.

Although there were initially no details about Davis’ injury, Meltzer revealed that he suffered a broken foot. There has been discussion backstage about keeping Davis on television in the background while he recovers.

The severity of the injury would likely result in Davis being off television for only a “couple of months.”

Davis’ match with Hobbs swiftly ended due to his injury.
