WWE ID Prospect Wins IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship

WWE ID prospect Marcus Mathers is the new IWTV Independent Wrestling World Champion after winning the title from Mads Krugger.

Mathers captured the gold with a 450 splash at Beyond Heavy Lies The Crown, ending the 366-day reign of the now-former champion.

Mathers is one of several names associated with WWE ID, the promotion’s latest recruitment tactic that follows on from WWE Next-In-Line.

WWE ID sees prospects granted access to WWE’s training facilities, as well as a fast track to potentially being signed as fully-fledged Superstars.
