Max Caster Says AEW Cut Line About Luigi Mangione
The Acclaimed’s Max Caster has claimed that AEW edited out a line from one of his freestyle performances that referenced Luigi Mangione.
Mangione is currently on trial for the alleged assassination of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, a case that has divided opinion.
On Twitter, Caster alleged that the line was cut from this week’s episode of AEW Rampage, the final episode of the Friday night show for now.
The line in question is as follows,
“Chris [Jericho] I don’t mess with the learning tree. Jericho is so high, I think he’s burning trees,” He’s getting smoked like a bidi. Bowens lights you up like his name is Luigi,” and “You better worry about your welfare, like you work for United Healthcare.”
Caster’s lines have often got him in trouble, including a 2021 line about Simone Biles many took as mocking mental health struggles.
Caster has been a part of AEW since 2020 and is a former AEW World Tag Team Champion and AEW Trios Champion.
