More Details On Meat Madness Match Being Scrapped From AEW Revolution

AEW President Tony Khan had to make a change to the Revolution PPV event as he had announced that due to injuries, AEW Meat Madness was pulled from the show. Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Lance Archer were scheduled to compete before the bout was nixed.

An All-Star Scramble match will take its place at AEW Revolution with the three stars mentioned above, as well as Brian Cage, Chris Jericho, and two other stars that have not been announced.

Fightful Select reports, “There were more elements that were to be added to the match, and wrestlers planned that couldn’t make it.” It’s unclear who the other wrestlers that were originally supposed to be in the bout that couldn’t make it.

The event will take place on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC, with AEW World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe vs. Hangman Page vs Swerve Strickland and AEW Tag Team Champions Sting & Darby Allin vs. The Young Bucks in Tornado Tag Team Match as the top bouts. Sting will lace up his boots for the final time at the show.
