Dustin Rhodes Thinks It’s Cody’s Moment To Win WWE Title In WrestleMania Headliner

Dustin Rhodes has given his opinion on what WWE should do with WrestleMania 40 if they are able to book The Rock for the show.

For months, it was believed that the main event at WrestleMania 40 would be Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

However, if The Rock agrees to face Reigns, Rhodes may not have the opportunity to finish his story, as it is rumored that CM Punk vs. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be another top match on the card.

During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Dustin shared his thoughts on what the company should do with his brother.

“I hope Cody’s in the main event spot against Roman,” said Rhodes. “Or it’s going to be The Rock. If it is The Rock, I’m pissed–this is Cody’s time. He is becoming the face of the company, and it’s paying off. But I get it. If it is The Rock, it’s still good business. I understand that there are a lot of people who love seeing The Rock. But I still think it’s Cody’s moment.”
