Jim Ross Talks The Perception Within WWE That The Hardys Weren’t Great Talkers

Jim Ross discussed the perception within WWE during the Attitude Era that the Hardys were not skilled at delivering promos in the latest episode of his “Grilling JR” podcast.

According to Ross, he thinks Jeff Hardy did not need extensive promo work, while Matt Hardy’s abilities were underrated.

The WWE Hall of Famer said, “The perception was that neither Jeff nor Matt were great talkers. Jeff got over without doing a lot of promos. And nobody can ever refute the fact that Jeff Hardy connected with his audience big time. Jeff, his actions spoke a lot louder than his words, Matt proved to us all that he could carry the load in that regard.“
