CM Punk Not Looking To Sue Tony Khan Following AEW Departure

CM Punk was released by AEW this month after a physical altercation with Jack Perry at AEW All In.

However, he is now ready to move on with his life. After the altercation, Punk reportedly lunged at AEW President Tony Khan.

Punk provided guest commentary at Friday’s Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) event, marking his first public appearance since being fired from AEW. He noted that he had a lot of free time on his hands.

According to Haus of Wrestling, Punk has no litigation pending against Khan after being released, and he is looking to avoid further litigation and move on with his life.

It’s unclear whether AEW and Khan are considering litigation against Punk. Regarding a potential WWE return, it’s still unclear whether the company or Punk is interested in that.

However, multiple sources made it clear that they saw “WWE and Punk working together as a possibility if good business can be done.”
