WWE Has Discussed Splitting Up The Mysterios

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE has had talks about possibly splitting up The Mysterios.

Dominik Mysterio has been away since April following an attack from Veer Mahaan on WWE RAW. Also, Rey Mysterio underwent more stem cell treatments for various injuries.

The report spotlighted that WWE previously teased a storyline where Rey was sending Dominik out on his own, but it was promptly dropped.

Dominik has not wrestled since a loss to Mahaan on April 11, while Rey has not wrestled since WrestleMania 38 where they lost to Logan Paul and The Miz.

There’s no word yet on when The Mysterios will be brought back to TV.
