Update On Tommaso Ciampa’s Status In WWE

Two-time former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa is reportedly a full-time member of the WWE RAW roster.

Ciampa is currently in Detroit for tonight’s RAW and has been called up from NXT 2.0 to the main roster internally, according to PWInsider.

The Blackheart had a brief call-up in 2019 but chose to remain in NXT as did Johnny Gargano.

Ciampa started working SmackDown dark matches in January of this year, while also working pre-RAW WWE Main Event tapings.

The former NXT Champion has made numerous appearances on the main roster as of late, most recently competing in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 1, SmackDown.

He worked his last NXT match the very next night, losing to Tony D’Angelo at NXT Stand & Deliver.
