Former WWE Superstar Returns to ROH

On ROH Week By Week, the ROH faithful witnessed the Survival of the Fittest Tournament qualifying match between Sledge and Brian Johnson.

Johnson would be victorious in this match, but his shady victory would be overshadowed by the return of former WWE superstar, PJ Black.

Formerly known as Justin Gabriel, PJ Black has not wrestled since December 2020. Black’s last match in Ring of Honor took place at ROH Wrestling #474 where he would lose to Josh Woods in the quarterfinals of the ROH Pure Championship Tournament. His last match in wrestling took place at NJPW STRONG Detonation alongside Fred Rosser in a victory over JR Kratos and Tom Lawlor.

PJ Black would make his way down to ringside following the conclusion of this match, where he would attempt to shake the hand of Brian Johnson. ‘The Mecca’ would reject the advances of PJ Black, which didn’t sit right with the returning superstar. Despite this, the ROH faithful is excited to witness the return of the South African Superstar, PJ Black.
