The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver – Night 1 event:

WWE NXT UK Champion WALTER vs. Tommaso Ciampa 

WALTER was chopping him down early. Ciampa continued to fight back and worked over the right hand of WALTER. WALTER blocked a suplex and hit a big boot. WALTER put him in a boston crab, but was taken out. Ciampa hit a powerslam for a near fall. Ciampa with a running knee, but WALTER caught him in a sleeper. WALTER with a german suplex then a clothesline for 2. Ciampa caught him in an arm submission, but WALTER got to the bottom rope to break it up. WALTER used the middle rope to his advantage. Ciampa hit a powerslam off the top rope for 2. They traded chops then WALTER hit a big chop for the finish. 

Winner: WALTER
