AEW Full Gear Results: Kenny Omega vs. Adam Page

Kenny Omega vs. Adam Page took place at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event in Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place. This was the finals of the AEW World Heavyweight Title Tournament. 

They did some basic moves and counters to start things off. Omega went for an outside dive, but Page caught him with a big boot and followed up with a back suplex. They brawled around ringside and Page sent him into the barricade, but on the second throw, Omega reversed and jumped off the barricade with a moonsault. Back in the ring, Omega hit a series of moves including a moonsault off the second rope.

Page hit a spring board clothesline to turn things around. Omega turned the tide with a dive over the top rope. Page got out of the one winged angel, but when he went for a spring board move, Omega caught him with a flying knee strike. Omega went for a powerbomb on the ramp, but Page got out of it and hit one of his own. Back in the ring, Omega hit a series of strikes, but Page made his comeback including hitting the dead eye. Omega connected with the one winged angel for the win. 

As a result of Omega winning, he has earned the right to be the new #1 contender in the men’s division. There’s still no word yet on when he’ll get a title shot from current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.
