Backstage Note On WWE Draft, RAW And SmackDown

The 2020 edition of the WWE Draft is in the books, with a host of top stars switching brands. It seems that there were some WWE superstars that weren’t exactly thrilled with the process behind notifying talent of where they would be in the draft.

According to a report provided by Fightful Select, several members of the roster revealed that they found out about their spot in the WWE draft pool via the Thursday afternoon report from FOX Sports.

Fightful also notes that one talent voiced their displeasure about finding out from the report rather than from WWE officials. WWE followed up the FOX Sports press release by issuing one of their own, which was virtually the same. Fightful reports that several WWE talent were unaware that they would not be included in the draft pool until the WWE press release.
