Another WWE Title Match Set For Clash In Italy

During tonight’s ongoing Saturday Night’s Main Event, another title match was set for next week’s Clash in Italy after a chaotic bout tonight.
Tonight’s show was supposed to feature Becky Lynch and Sol Ruca having their highly anticipated WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. However, things took a turn right into the match. Before the match even started, Lynch threw her title at Ruca, who then hit Lynch with a clothesline.
Once the match began, things fell apart even faster. Ruca tried to hit a Sol Snatcher, but Lynch dragged referee Jessika Carr into her way. Then, Carr called for the match to end via disqualification. This means that Ruca won, but didn’t get the title, as a title can’t change hands thanks to a disqualification.
Ruca was upset, while Lynch couldn’t help but laugh as she walked off with the belt. The crowd, for what its worth, was livid, booing Lynch as she walked off. Later in the night, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis told Lynch that Adam Pearce said what she did was wrong, and she’ll now have to defend her title against Ruca again next week in Italy.
