Bret Hart Makes Shocking Claim About Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon
Bret Hart blasts Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon with an explosive allegation.
Hart has once again stirred major controversy while revisiting one of wrestling’s most infamous chapters, the 1997 Montreal Screwjob. During a recent appearance on the Johnny I Pro Show in Montreal, Hart openly discussed the backstage tension of the 1990s and took a direct shot at Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon.
He said the issues between him, Michaels, and McMahon went far beyond normal backstage politics. He suggested that he was “caught between two lovers” at that time and believed Michaels used his alleged relationship with McMahon to rise to the top
“I think that Shawn and Vince were sleeping with each other. I’m just telling you, I think I’m very close to the truth here. Shawn and Vince were lovers. I’m being dead honest. When I look back, it’s like I got caught between two lovers, and I got shafted and screwed over and Shawn was so envious and jealous of my position that he finally had to sleep with Vince to get it.”
“I would say it to Shawn if he was right here. I would actually like to have Shawn come clean and say, “Look, we were lovers.” Because I’m sure they were. If I saw either Vince or Shawn here, I would say I think you guys were lovers.” [H/T: Fightful]
Bret Hart also called out WWE star Sheamus
In the same interview, Bret Hart also took a shot at former WWE Champion Sheamus. Hart said he isn’t impressed with the way Sheamus throws his punches and called them embarrassment. He said, “Whenever I see him I’m like why don’t you take 10 minutes and have someone teach you how to throw a punch instead of throwing that embarrassment of a punch.”
Sheamus has spent most of his career in WWE, he recently played a big role in John Cena’s final match on WWE RAW. He earned Grand Slam Champion status and now looks ready to become a future Hall of Famer.
