Wade Barrett Reflects On 15-Year Anniversary Of The Nexus’ Debut
On June 7, 2010, WWE RAW came to an end in explosive fashion with the arrival of The Nexus, a group of ‘rookies’ led by Wade Barrett.
Barrett, who had won the first season of WWE NXT, led his cohorts to cause havoc, attacking John Cena, CM Punk, and others.
Taking to Twitter, Barrett reflected on 15 years since he and the Nexus made their impactful arrival on WWE’s flagship show.

The debut of the Nexus would prove too hot for WWE when Daniel Bryan choked Justin Roberts with his tie, resulting in Bryan being fired from WWE.
WWE explained Bryan’s removal by saying he had shown remorse for the attack. He would be rehired shortly after and return as a face at SummerSlam.
