Brie Bella Recalls Drunk-Calling Bryan Danielson On His Birthday

On a recent edition of her “The Nikki and Brie Show” podcast, Brie Bella recalled Facetiming Bryan Danielson after a handful of libations. She said,

“He doesn’t like drunk people. He doesn’t drink. I drunk FaceTimed Bryan and I was like, ‘It’s your birthday,’ and I’m like, ‘Just — I wish I was there with you… But he entertained it. He entertained the call for sure. I could see his face. Like, I just — I imagine his face.

“I’m surprised he didn’t text me like, ‘Wow, you’re drunk.’ But like just — I actually don’t even remember all the things I told him. Then I just think of like hanging up and I like snooze off and he’s probably like, ‘What the f**k?’ That’s my girl. That’s my girl. That’s my primo. He always knew who he married, you know?”

On Total Divas, Brie and the rest of the cast explored Brie’s ‘wild’ attitude when inebriated, dubbing it ‘Brie Mode.’

Bella last appeared in wrestling at the All In: London pay-per-view event in 2024, where Danielson captured the AEW World Championship.
